Faculty of Production Engineering
The University of Bremen’s Faculty of Production Engineering is concerned with the efficient use of machines and equipment deployed in production as well as the conception and design of production systems. Our researchers develop forward-looking technologies in the areas of creating, refining and customizing materials, manufacturing components, as well as environmentally friendly and resource-saving processes.
Our course offerings encompass the disciplines of Mechanical Engineering and Process Engineering as well as Engineering and Management, Systems Engineering, and Vocational education.
Approx. 280 persons are employed in the academic, engineering and administrative areas of Faculty 4 with its 31 different thematic fields. Some 1,900 students are enrolled on the Faculty’s 8 study programs.
